The Navigation Skills Assessment Program was recently nominated for a 2017 Samuel Plimsoll Award through Professional Mariner Magazine. Professional Mariner will present a Plimsoll Award for Innovation. This award will recognize an innovation that contributes to improved safety or efficiency in the industry.
NSAP® certainly fits the criteria for a product, service or procedure that significantly improves the well-being of mariners by increasing safety and efficiency levels in the industry!

Navigation Skills Assessment Program presented at the International Tanker Operator Safety Forum aboard HQS Wellington in London, UK. We are very happy to report that the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) has recently released the TMSA 3 which now includes both a requirement for and recognition of Competency Assessment Programs to ensure that Masters and Navigation Officers maintain core and specialist skills.
