Course Description
This MSC course outlines duties and responsibilities with regard to the federal laws governing Sewage, Oil and Oily Waste, Oil and Hazardous Substance Spill Response, Ozone Depleting Substances, Non-Indigenous Species and Marine Mammals, and Hazardous Materials.
The Environmental Protection Program integrates MSC's environmental policy into the decision-making process and day-to-day operations of MSC by focusing on four areas:
Compliance with international, national, state, and local environmental laws and regulations
Spill response readiness
Pollution prevention
Conservation
Prerequisites- OICNW Level Certification.
