Course Description
This course aims to provide attendees with the understanding of the properties and hazards of liquefied gas, inert gas systems, gas detection systems, basic physics and chemistry in regards to cryogenic liquids, bunkering safety procedures, tank environment control, safety precautions, and emergency procedures. The course will meet the minimum training requirements as set by U.S.C.G. Policy letters 01-15 and 02-19 and meets the training and standards of competence required by STCW Code Section A-V/3 and Tables A-V/3-1 and A-V/3-2, as amended 2010, for original or renewal of STCW endorsements for Basic and Advanced IGF Code Operations.
The training in this course is comprised of lecture and discussions, accompanied by visual presentations in the classroom and in the attendee guide material.

What You Will Learn
The goal of this three-day course is to familiarize the attendee, with the safe operations and procedures of LNG bunkering of vessels using low flashpoint fuel. The course will meet the minimum training requirements as set by U.S.C.G. Policy letters 01-15 and 02-19.
