
Military Sealift Command (MSC) and U.S. Navy (USN)
MITAGS offers numerous courses that are approved by the U.S. Military Sealift Command (MSC) for commercial and civilian mariners (CIV-MARS). These courses fulfill a number of MSC's mandatory training requirements.
For reference, MITAGS' MSC courses are listed on the course schedule with the prefix "MSC." For the latest course convening dates, please visit the "Schedule and Registration" page of this website. This section also contains an alphabetical "Course Descriptions List."

Important Note
The Institute's Small Arms course (MSC-SMA) is restricted to members of the International Organization of Masters, Mates and Pilots (IOMM&P) and commerical/civilian mariners that work on vessels contracted to the Military Sealift Command.
