Our Chief Mate to Master Program (CMM) includes all the training and support needed to achieve a Chief Mate's and Master's License.  Our CMM program can be completed in 61 days and provides the knowledge, skills and confidence to take on the duties and responsibilities of a Chief Mate and Master.

NMC Policy Letter 04-02 describes the requirements for applicants for ocean or near coastal Chief Mate and Master licences on vessels of 3000 or more gross tonnage (1600 GRT) after February 1st 2003.  It details the sea service, training and practical assessments that must be completed before an applicant can sit for the traditional USCG written exam.

The following table lists the courses that we offer to satisfy Policy Letter 04-02.  Most of the 53 practical assessments required are incorporated in these courses.
