Electronic Navigation and Vessel Traffic Systems
MITAGS' programs cover the "best practices" in the operation of electronic navigation equipment. The Institute's courses range from the basic, such as Radar, to the advanced, such as Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS) and Vessel Traffic Systems (VTS). Our staff members are recognized experts that stay abeast of new technology and are supported by the most advanced electronic simulation facility in the United States. In fact, the Institute holds the distinction of being the only training facility in the United States to be designated as a "National Vessel Traffic Operator Training Center."
